How have you been feeling this week?
I have started sleeping better – probably from sheer exhaustion! I am starting to feel a twinge of guilt though as I'm hardly getting to spend any time with my elder daughter. By the time I'm home from gym and have showered it's time for her to hit the bed so effectively no mother-daughter time. Hoping to give her more one-on-one time over the weekend.
How has your exercise been going this week?
I’m quite proud to say that this week I've managed to last a whole 45 minutes in the gym! This is a BIG thing from me as last week I was barely able to last 20 minutes. I’ve done all types of exercise in the past but this is the first time I have done a bear crawl – you need to see it to believe it! My only feedback from that is thank heavens I’m not a bear.
How has your nutrition plan been going this week?
The meal plan was starting to get a little boring but, thanks to a home visit by my sweet trainer Saika, I now have some recipes on how to alternate the type of protein I'm eating and also some Indian alternatives to the style of cooking. She's even given me a healthy way to make desi pulao! The caffeine craving is still quite persistent and I'm eagerly waiting for my cheat day when I'm going to drink an entire flask full of sweet milky tea!
