  • Fifth Street Café.

Fifth favourite

Abu Dhabi’s Hamdan Street is home to the new Fifth Street Café, where you’ll find plenty of space to get on with some work or relax and unwind. On offer is the freshest coffee, along with a home-cooked menu featuring locally sourced produce. We hear the buttery pancakes are particularly good… and pretty much anything from the impressive dessert cabinet. 02 698 2222

Al Barza

Local flavour

Beach Road has a new eatery and it’s all about the local cuisine. Al Barza offers indoor and outdoor seating and a wide range of traditional Emirati delicacies with a modern, contemporary twist. There’s the sinfully sweet balaleet vermicelli, tasty mains such as machboos and thareed, and of course some rich, syrupy delights for dessert, as well as unusual takes on hot drinks.
