Give in to temptation

Trendy Japanese eatery and lounge Toko has launched a new ladies’ night on Wednesdays. Temptation by Toko offers gals a whopping 30 per cent off dinner and four free drinks from 6.30pm-10.30pm, with danceable tunes from the in-house DJ and a lively, contemporary setting. Vida Hotel Downtown, 04 442 8383.

Grown-up tea party

It’s tea-o’clock from 9pm to midnight every last Wednesday of the month at Suga – sip unlimited Alice in Wonderland-inspired cocktails such as Whimsy Tea from traditional teapots and cups, alongside cake stands of elegant canapés and sweets. Dh250 per person. Conrad Dubai, 04 444 7111.

Hot launch!

Love Societe but don’t love the trek to the Marina? The popular retro club has opened a second outlet rather more centrally located in the Capitol Hotel, Jumeirah. Expect the club’s trademark old-school tunes – dance-floor-filling favourites from the Eighties, Nineties and Noughties – along with a fun party atmosphere and theme nights every evening, from rock night to the traditional ladies night. There’s two floors so plenty of room to party and, best of all, no cover charge any night of the week. 052 728 5126.
