This month we’re... feeling thoughtful

Ramadan has us in a reflective mood...

  • Book for a mindfulness course at LifeWorks.

We’ll start our month by booking a mindfulness course at LifeWorks (04 394 2464) where we’ll learn how to develop awareness of our thoughts, feelings and sensations in order to improve relationships and get more from our lives. 


Simply Being Guided Meditation app

For a spot of meditation on the go, we’ll be downloading the handy Simply Being Guided Meditation app, which will teach us the basics of meditation and calming techniques in quick, easy sessions.

Yoga

Once we’re calm and Zen-like, we’ll go online and choose a yoga workout from monthly subscription site YogaGlo, which features a wide range of sessions with differing goals in mind. 


Iftar

Then, dining options will include iftar at Qbara (04 709 2500) for an authentic Arabian experience, and the Soulfull café (www.soulfull.ae) with its menu full of everything that’s good for mind, body and soul.

Massage

And for our monthly treat, we’ll book ourselves in for a Bio-Energetic rebalancing massage at Life’n One (04 343 6676), 
which uses deep tissue and joint release techniques to realign body and mind.
