We’ll start our day by tucking into the new Japanese breakfast at Social House, The Dubai Mall (04 339 8640) or, for the same thing in the capital, we’ll head to new Japanese café Mikado (02 667 7557), to enjoy its Spring menu, launched to celebrate the Japanese cherry blossom festival.

Then, we’ll be heading to our local branch of NBar (www.nbaruae.com) for a kitsch Gelish mani-pedi from its new Japanese-inspired collection.

SensAsia Urban Spa

For a spot of pampering we’ll be heading to SensAsia Urban Spa (www.sensasiaspas.com) to try out its new Skinny Beach treatments.

Tops

Dh699, H&M; Dh120, Koton.

Retail therapy will be had at H&M and Koton at the local malls, who’ve got racks full of beautiful on-trend kimono jackets and Orient-inspired steals straight from the shows.

 Sushi

Then we’ll be filling our bellies at the relaunched East Kitchen in JLT (04 422 6929). Featuring all manner of Asian-inspired delicacies, we’re looking forward to treats such as sushi, stir-fries and the sinfully yummy-sounding banana spring rolls. Sayonara!
