  • Winter camp at DUCTAC.

Tread the boards

Stuck for activities in the holidays? Little thespians might like to try a winter camp with Theatre Works. Held at Ductac, Mall of the Emirates, and Gems Wellington school, DSO, from December 20-23, the camps offer children aged 3-14 the opportunity to explore the world of theatre and try their hand at drama, dance and art. And as a grand finale, they’ll get to showcase their efforts in front of family and friends at the end of the camp.

Bounce and fly!

Indoor trampoline club Bounce is now offering a Flight Academy programme so bouncers aged three and up have the opportunity to ramp it up a notch. Qualified instructors will teach moves such as flips, jumps and wall-running, and small class sizes – or even one-to-one sessions – will ensure safety. Al Quoz, 04 321 1400.

Mini movies

Tinkerbell and The Legend Of The Neverbeast follows animal fairy Fawn – who never judges a book by its cover, or a beast by his fangs – as she tries to convince the Scout Fairies that the huge, hairy newcomer to Pixie Hollow isn’t such a bad guy after all. The last thing the Neverbeast wants to do is destroy the fairies’ home; can Fawn get her friends to see that before it’s too late? UAE release on December 25.
