Aquarius tries... bare fitness

What is it? Cross-fit sessions with a nutrition plan.

Our take on it Bare Fitness isn’t your ordinary gym. As soon as you walk in, there is a vibe – music is playing, the staff are making up little dances and the members are chatting, waiting for class to start. You instantly feel relaxed. There are climbing frames and other equipment in the main room, and a large studio at the back for other classes (spinning, yoga and more). In the main sessions, you do circuits of various exercises, such as pull-ups (you can use rubber bands to make it easier), lifting weights, throwing a medicine ball against the wall and catching it, burpies and more. The workout is different every day and the class sizes are small (11 at most), which means you get one-on-one direction from the instructors and this also makes it easier to get to know the other members. The workout is tough but fun and the session passes really quickly. With the upbeat atmosphere, chirpy staff and friendly members, Bare Fitness is a new take on cross-fit and well worth a visit.
