1 Turn the tables…
List all those self-deprecating thoughts that go through your mind, holding you back and making you second-guess yourself. Now imagine if your best friend were thinking them about herself, what would you say to her? Now say that to yourself!
2 Avoid comparisons
One thing we are all guilty of at some point is comparing ourselves to others. It’s time to realise that each person is different and we all have our own strengths and weaknesses. Figure out what you love to do or are great at and show that to the world.
3 Sit up straight!
Think of someone confident and how you picture them. In your mind’s eye, they are probably either standing upright or sitting straight. You won’t see confident people hunched over, so follow suit. It may take practise, but will soon become a habit.
