Bold brows are one of the hottest trends of the year, with cool kids like Cara Delevingne and screen sirens like Sofia Vergara rocking them proudly. Even the A/W14 shows went brow bonkers, with designers such as Emilio Pucci and Jason Wu embracing their bushy brilliance. So if you want to boost those brows, these fabulous fixers will sort out over-plucked, pencil-thin excuses for eyebrows in a flash. It’s time to go bold, or go home.

The bling factor

Crystal jewels to jazz up those brows? What’s not to love! The Benefit Bling Brow kit comes with tweezers and an array of stick-on gems so you can get creative – or visit any Benefit counter and they can apply them for you. Benefit Bling Brow Kit, Dh130, Sephora. Bling Brow Service in store, from Dh25.

The brow booster

Got a bit carried away with the tweezers? This conditioning treatment will boost those brows back to beautiful in no time. A blend of peptides, vitamins and botanicals, it encourages brows to grow back thicker and stronger. RevitaBrow Advanced, Dh405, The Dollhouse Salon.

The super shaper

From brow shaping to tinting – the I Brow Services at the new Beauty Connections Spa tick every possible box. You can get them styled into any shape too, from the more natural ‘full round’ to the edgy ‘rock star’. I Brow Services at Beauty Connections Spa, from Dh20.

The treatment

Extensions are no longer just for your hair or lashes – they’re now for brows too. The latest treatment at Tips & Toes fills in gaps and creates volume to give you natural looking, thicker brows that last up to two weeks. Wonderful. Brow Extensions at Tips & Toes, from Dh60.

The expert tip

Diana Kohutova, regional make-up artist at Bobbi Brown Middle East, gives her advice for achieving the perfect bold brow: “Brush the eyebrow hair downwards so you can see the natural start, finish and line of the brow. Keeping this natural curve in mind, sweep the hair back up and use light, feathery strokes to apply the powder through the brow. Do this several times, each time taking a step back in the mirror to assess where you need to add definition to get that bold, yet natural brow. Set with a brow-shaping gel.”
