Get the look

Actress Emily Blunt went for a Grecian look at the 72nd Golden Globe awards in Beverly Hills last month and looked more ‘The angel wears Michael Kors’ than ‘The devil wears Prada’. Our high-street version will have you looking just as Grecian gorgeous for a lot less.

Dress, Dh950, Jenny Packham at Debenhams; Earrings, Dh29, Koton.

Psst… news alert

Ted Baker’s new S/S collection has hit stores. It stars an array of simple, figure-hugging colour-block separates and contrasting striking kaleidoscope digital prints, as well as retro 1950s accessories. With all new-season trends ticked, it’s a one-stop shop to update your wardrobe in an instant. Prices from Dh175.

Designer collaboration to watch out for

The Butterfly by Matthew Williamson new S/S collection at Debenhams stores caught my eye this month. The tropical bird print and boho vibe fringing will give my wardrobe the injection of vibrancy it desperately needs. In stores now, prices from Dh100 for accessories and Dh350 for clothes.

Where I’m browsing this month

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I’m encouraging my husband (via a flurry of email links) to click on to It has pre-owned designer labels such as Victoria Beckham, Christian Louboutin, Marni and more, for a fraction of the cost. With designer heels from Dh1,000, and Marni dresses going for less than Dh900, it’s a Valentine’s treat my husband can afford to spoil me with. There’s a men’s section too, with designer accessories, so I’ll be returning the favour with a Fendi tie for just Dh165… shhh!
