Get the look

Taylor Schilling stepped out this week in a bold off-the-shoulder Sachin & Babi number. In this hot hue for Fall, she is ticking two trends by also keeping her shoulders bare. Recreate this look with one of our high street faves at almost a quarter of the cost.

Brand to watch

Miami-born brand Kruzin is one I have my eye on this month… this bold label with cool designs is just launching in the UAE, and it brings bags of personality to the sneaker game. Backed by celebs all over, their ethos is to translate your personality to your footwear. After all, life is short – make your sneakers loud! I want to get my hands on these monk-strap beauties… Dh767, Kruzin at

Where I am browsing this month

It is that time of year where we eagerly wait for the next designer-high street collaborations. With news that the H&M and Kenzo collection is not launching in Dubai until early November, I will be scouring the internet to try to get an advance glimpse of Carol Lim and Humberto Leon’s collaboration, which will feature plenty of animal print. Three looks have already been revealed and this purrfect print combo is a hint of what to expect from the vibrant collection. And the cherry on the cake: the lookbook images are shot using a variety of artists in lieu of models. Possibly the coolest collaboration to date.

What I’m doing this month

Fashion Forward Season 8 is upon us, and from October 20-23, I’ll be immersed in the region’s most talented designers’ collections. With a line-up of 31 designers, and five new labels launching, I’ll be using Instagram to keep you up to date on what to look forward to in SS17…

Sophia Webster keeps us on our toes (literally) every season with a new wacky design that we can’t help but fall in love with. This winter is no exception with the a new capsule collection, in collaboration with Level Shoes, just for the UAE. The five-piece range of iconic Chiara butterfly sandals has been redesigned for the Middle East with a metallic and embroidered twist. The only problem is deciding which colour you need in your life… Dh2,030, Level Shoes
